The talented children and young people at The BIG Project embark on another first - this time, releasing a charity Christmas single to raise money for their project, a youth and children’s charity based in Broomhouse, Edinburgh. You might have seen and heard the choir before, singing “Flower Of Scotland” for the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, or performing live on BBC Children In Need with Gareth Malone!

Witness The Wonder, written by their Music Director, singer songwriter Kim Edgar, was recorded at Caribou Recording by popular producer Mattie Foulds earlier in the year, while Kim was recording her third solo album, Stories Untold. Kim commented:

“Witness The Wonder celebrates midwinter, and the fact that even in the darkest times, together we can gather strength and help each other, so it seemed to me a really positive message that was ideal for performance by The BIG Project Youth Choir.” Project Director Sascha Macleod commented:

“It’s fantastic to see the choir fundraising in support of The BIG Project - our members have already raised money for Children In Need this year, through discos and other special events, and it’s great to see them using their musical skills to raise awareness of our project and to support us in our continued work here in Broomhouse.
